No. 10 BYU completed the largest second-half comeback in school history on Tuesday night, stunning Clemson 67-64 in the 2025 Jimmy V Classic at Madison Square Garden.

After a back-and-forth battle through most of the first half, Clemson went on a 21-0 run that spanned the final six minutes of the half to give the Tigers a 43-22 lead at the half.

But the Cougars never gave up. Behind a career-best performance from freshman AJ Dybantsa and a clutch game-winning three-pointer from Robert Wright III, BYU rallied to complete the incredible second-half comeback.

Dybantsa led the way as he scored 22 of his 28 points in the second half, and also finished with nine rebounds and six assists. The freshman sensation had more points and more assists than Clemson in the second half. He also became the first freshman in Big 12 history to have back-to-back 20/5/5 games. In addition, Dybantsa became just the second player (Stephen Curry) in the last 30 seasons to put up those numbers in a game without committing a foul.

BYU appeared to have the game won as Dybantsa dribbled towards the hoop before unleashing a thunderous one-handed dunk with a minute left in the game to give the Cougars a 62-56 lead. But Clemson didn't back down and managed to tie the game with just over five seconds to go.

The Cougars called a timeout and then drew up a play to get a game-winning shot off. The play ended up going to Wright who split two defenders and calmly sank a game-winning three-pointer from the right wing as time expired to give BYU the win.

For the game, Wright finished with 17 points, five rebounds and five assists in the win. Keba Keita was also key in the victory as the senior added 10 points — including four dunks — to give with seven rebounds and three blocked shots. Keita's dunks were thunderous, and even caused the game to be delayed by 20 minutes because one of his dunks bent the rim and made it unlevel.
